Rave Build - Project Management
Schedule and Plan out each buildRave Build’s project management module provides the necessary tools to enable the user to carefully plan and organize a building project. This includes identifying required tasks and timelines to develop the project’s schedule. While also improving communication and accountability.
As with all Rave Build’s modules the project management is smart and easy to use. The schedule can be viewed in both gantt chart or calendar format. Which can be accessed remotely utilizing internet capably phones and laptops.
All the invited sub-contractors have access to the schedule, and are alerted to any changes in real time.
Any changes to the schedule, plans, or specifications are quickly and easily communicated to all concerned. This includes the management of variations.
One platform, one single version of the accurate documentation required that can be viewed by everyone, ensuring all have only the best and most current information from which to make informed decisions.
Project Management means to plan, organize, execute, monitor against the plan and then take control by taking the corrective action. Or in simpler terms: “To direct by saying what you are going to do before you do it” This provides an opportunity to modify your actions at minimum cost and maximum effect.
The twin keys to improving performance are commitment and communication – commitment by team members to pre-established project objectives and continuous and effective communication of those objectives. Not necessarily more communication is required, but rather better quality and better directed information and understanding. Considering information and communication techniques properly handled on a project can result in substantial savings.
The earlier the point in the development process of “getting it just right”, the greater the economy.
Bear in mind that a time delay near the end of the project is far more expensive, and therefore more important, than one earlier on by virtue of the much higher carrying costs.
Significant effort by the management team should be exercised during the planning phases to maintain control of the project’s scope, quality, time and cost.
