September Updates

September has been all about  Schedule updates,  New CRM and Project features, and  a whole lot behind the scenes work on fresh audit trail entries.

We're continuing to build momentum as we head into the last few months of 2025— stay tuned for more updates! 🚀

CRM updates

New Feature: All Enquiries without Future Activities

You can now easily view all client enquiries that don’t have a future activity scheduled — making sure no one slips through the cracks. Plus, if there was a past activity, we’ll show that too — giving you full visibility into what’s already been done and what still needs attention .

This is a game-changer for staying on top of follow-ups and making sure every lead gets the attention it deserves.

Project updates

The Client Project Notes section wasn’t always clear that these notes are shared directly with the client via email, even if they don’t have a login.

We’ve updated the page to make this much clearer — so you always know when your notes will be sent out.

Better transparency means fewer surprises and smoother communication!

SCHEDULE updates

We’ve added a task status filter to the Schedule Gantt view! Now you can quickly filter tasks by status — making it easier to focus on what’s in open, ordered, working or completed

If the Building Consent Number is filled in on the Project Details page, it will now appear on the  Schedule Task List and the Gantt Chart View - No more digging around for compliance info. It's right where you need it.

If the Building Consent Number is filled in on the Project Details page, it will now appear on the Branch and Company Key Tasks reports in Rave Reporting - Making it easier to view info by BC number

If the Contract Name is filled in on the Project Details page, it will now show up in the Project Timelines Report under the Projects Tab - Build Overview. - A small touch that makes it easier to track and reference projects — especially when you're juggling multiple projects at once

You can now also export the Project Timelines Report as a CSV file — in addition to the existing print option.

We’ve added a ‘Today’ button that, when clicked, instantly pulls you back to today’s date — no more manual scrolling needed! A small tweak that makes navigating your schedule faster and smoother.

Contractor updates

Contractors now have the ability to accept or decline tasks from their My Tasks page as well as their Projects Page. Giving them faster access to accept your work

Contractors now have the Project Managers email and phone in the Project page inside Rave so they have access to call or email their Project Manager faster.

We’ve introduced granular permissions for comments and photos on the schedule. 🛠️ You can now control who can add comments and upload photos — not just on their own assigned tasks, but on other team members’ tasks too.

This permission setting is now available across all user groups, so you can fine-tune collaboration and keep communication clear and secure.  👉 To read more about User Group Permissions, click here

We've made it easier to stay on top of task conversations.  Now, when a task has comments, you can simply hover over the comment icon to preview the latest message.

If there are multiple comments, you’ll still need to click in to read the full thread — but this gives you a faster way to scan updates without breaking your flow. 👉  To read more about Schedule Comments and Photos, click here

Under Branch Settings > Contractors, you can now choose how contractor names appear in Rave.

Choose between: First Name Last Name (Company) or Company (First Name Last Name). Plus, you can decide whether to show their trade alongside their name for even clearer identification.  This makes it easier to tailor the display to your team’s preferences and keep contractor info consistent across your projects.

Under Branch Settings > Contractors, you can now choose whether to show or hide client information from your contractors in Rave.

If you opt to hide client info, contractors will see “Redacted” wherever client names, emails, phone numbers, or other details would normally appear.  This gives you full control to keep sensitive client data confidential while still collaborating effectively.

New: Bulk Delete Projects

Cleaning up old projects just got easier! You can now bulk delete projects right from the Project List page by clicking the bulk select icon and/or selecting multiple projects to remove.

If a project's don't meet the delete criteria, you’ll need to unselect them — so no accidental deletes. This feature is perfect for clearing out old projects that were never started, without deleting the client or their enquiry.  👉 To read more about Deleting Projects, click here

Sneak Peek: New Project-Level Audit Trail (Coming Soon!)

We’re working hard behind the scenes on a new and improved audit trail system — and it's almost ready to launch.

Rather than viewing audit trails on a per-project basis, you’ll soon have access to a branch-wide Project Audit Trail, giving you a powerful, centralised view of activity across all your projects.

Here’s what you can expect:

Search and filter by:

Project

Section of Rave (e.g., List page, overview, people tab etc.)

Audit action type (e.g., editing, deleting, creating, bulk editing etc.)

User (see exactly what a team member has been doing)

Date range

We’ve added over 400+ auditable actions to ensure nothing gets missed.

This update will bring greater transparency, accountability, and control across your team and projects. Stay tuned for the official release.

That's all for this update but we will be back in 2 weeks with more...
