We've updated RAVE’s Document Loading and File Management systems!

We have made a slew of updates to the way we manage files. And while it may not sound like much, these updates can really improve your experience with Rave! In today’s blog, we’re going to run through the different tweaks that have been made, so let’s get into it.

Upload Files to Notes within RAVE

The first major update is that users can now upload files under various ‘Notes’ sections - allowing you to add an additional level of detail to the notes that are kept within Rave.  

The sales team can upload files to their client overview, client notes. 

The sales team can also add files to their client minutes notes too - via the clients/minutes sub tab.

The project team can upload files to their project overview site/build and clients notes sections.

The project team can also add files to their project minutes notes too - via the site build/minutes sub tab. And now, the project team can upload files to a project’s check list ‘to do comment’ as well!

Project File - Updates

Secondly, we’ve made some pretty cool updates to how we manage a project’s documents.  

Under the project Files sub tab, we have added the ability to expand (open) and collapse (close) a project’s files folders.

We’ve added the ability for you to add sub folders to your customisable ‘yellow’ folders, allowing you to better organise your project documents.  These will also be included as part of any newly saved folder templates.

Uploading documents to your projects is now even easier, with the ability to drag and drop file(s) into your file folders to upload!  And, you can now drag & drop files within & between folders - and files can now be reordered via handy sort functions.

To round things off, we’ve added similar drag and drop functionality to our Financial Management System too - you can now drag and drop files on all financial workflows, wherever you can upload attachments!
